What's being watched...

Here's what I am watching these days (in no particular order):

Kami no Mizo Shiru Sekai (The World Only God Knows): Gal-game geek has to win the hearts of real girls due to a contract with the Devil.

Sasameki Koto: Girl is in love with her best friend but the love is unrequited. Angsty.

Motto To LOVE-Ru: Redefined sequel, with a new format that follows more closely to the manga.

Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai (My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute): Older brother has to cover for his fashion-model little sister, who is in actuality a closet otaku.

Koe de Oshigoto!: High-school girl becomes a seiyuu for her older sister's eroge company. OVA.

Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls: See Haiku Review. More complete review on the way once the series is complete.

Asobi ni Iku Yo!: Harem comedy centering around alien catgirls coming to earth, but the human women in the main character's harem are all secret agents of some sort. Think To LOVE-Ru with guns.

Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru: Already covered in a previous review. Still going on.

That's it so far, but I'm sure I'll pick up more series as time goes on, 'cause that's how I roll.

The Worst Maid Cafe in Japan.

It really isn't.
Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru, episodes 1-6

I figure when doing a review blog that it's best to start with a current series and work back from there. With that in mind, and before delving into my anime archives for my All Time Faves, I thought it would be good to start by reviewing Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru (lit. "Yet the Town Keeps Going"), an anime series based on the manga of the same name by Masakazu Ishiguro. So why start with this one? Short version: it's really good. The review continues after the break.

Yet another new blog, Yay.

As if the blogosphere wasn't crowded enough, I humbly present another entry on which to waste your time spend quality time. This here blog will mostly be about the anime that I have watched. Exciting, no?

No? Well, then.

Let me get this out of the way first: I watch a lot of anime. Like, way more than should be healthy. And after watching all this anime, I realized that I should have someplace where I can regurgitate all the ideas and thoughts I had about said anime (or manga, or whatever). Thus this will be another one of those "well, here's what I thought of it" space-fillers. I'll try to keep it entertaining, though.

In addition, I will probably be ranting about other things from time to time, as I do indeed have other interests. I will try, however, to keep on track as much as possible. I enjoy certain kinds of anime, and this blog will reflect that, but keep in mind that this is basically a fan blog. I also enjoy healthy debate so if you agree with what I said, fantastic. If you don't, let me know. I also enjoy suggestions on new anime to watch, so suggest away.

The design of this blog might be changing a bit in the near future, as I get used to the format and find new, cool stuff to add.

So basically, that's it for now. Next one will be a review.
